Stir-n-Up Hope was founded in 2002 by Tommy and Kelly Epperson with the help of some very special people who made up our first board members, Jacquelyn Vaughn Cook, Andrea Woolen Hayse, Brian Schulte and Joyce Harris. Stir-n-Up Hope began offering Equine Assisted Activities for individuals with any type of disability. Since its founding days, the program has expanded its services to offer Equine Assisted Learning. EAL focuses, but not limited on, relationship and life skills. Lessons are offered in 8 week sessions. A dedicated team works hard to provide quality sessions. All instructors are experienced equestrians and trained by PATH Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International).
“Our Mission is that through our effort of love, guidance, time, prayers and the partnership with the horse, we can stir up the hope that is inside of each participant and accomplish goals that were once thought impossible.”
