Our Equine Assisted Activity classes cannot operate without volunteers!

Volunteers are needed to prepare a horse for class, lead the horse, and walk along side of the rider for safety. In addition to volunteers that help with the classes, we need people to help in a number of different areas such as fund raising, grants committee help, facilities and equipment maintenance, and horse exercisers.

Volunteers are needed to assist riders who will be riding in our Equine Assisted Activities. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Stir-N-Up Hope will teach you all you need to know in a 2 1/2 hour training workshop. It is a great way to have fun and guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

To keep our horses trained and ready for classes, we need people to help exercise and work with our horses on days they are not being used for classes. Horse Exercisers need to have plenty of riding experience and be confident enough to catch and ride different horses.

Need Community Service Hours?

In addition to being part of this amazing organization, volunteering at Stir-N-Up Hope is a great way to obtain valuable community service time for things like scholarship applications or fullfilling National Honor Society requirements.
