Our Equine Assisted Activity classes cannot operate without volunteers!

   How can you help?

Prep horses for class-Volunteers are needed to prepare a horse for class by grooming and tacking up the horses

Horse Leaders-If you have horse experience, this job is for you! We need your horse experience to lead the horse for riders who need the assistance.

Side Walkers-No horse experience? That is ok, some of our riders need extra support while riding.  This job requires you to side walk along beside the rider for either comfort measures or physical support for a safer ride.

Horse Exercisers- Do you have years of riding experience and love to ride?  Then our horses are “Whinnying” for you!   Our horses need individuals to come prevent soreness and burn out. SNUP has written guidelines on how to help keep our four legged special partners happy and healthy. LOOK FOR MORE SIGN UP INFORMATION COMING IN JANUARY 2020.

*All volunteers assisting during lessons must be 14 years or older and is required to attend a volunteer training.  SNUH will teach you all you need to know!

WAIT! WE HAVE MORE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES 🙂

Behind the scenes help- cleaning stalls, water buckets,  horse equipment, and general cleaning around the barn is great place for those under 14 years of age or who want to help but not with the horses

Program helpers- we can always use the help in raising funds, seeking and writing grants, work days around the barn, and public outreach.

Community Service Hours-In addition to being part of this amazing organization, volunteering at Stir-N-Up Hope is a great way to obtain valuable community service time for things like scholarship applications or fullfilling National Honor Society requirements.

We guarantee volunteering will put a smile on your face! So call today to get started.  🙂
